Returning to St. Louis!

I am blessed enough to be back in St. Louis, MO for Urbana ’12. Urbana is a student missions conference put on every three years through Intervarsity Christian Fellowship. I was able to attend as a student during the 2009 conference and had such a life changing experience, I knew that I wanted to come back and serve with my skills as a photographer at the 2012 conference. I have been humbled and awed by the talents of the 6 other awesome photographers I’m working with. We all have our own specialties which has been very cool to see unfold as we work. My work on the team includes collaborating with the daily conference newspaper “Urbana Today” writers to help produce photos to go with their stories as well as covering different sessions and workshops. Yesterday an article about the conference’s impact on the city of St. Louis needed a downtown shot. After a little exploring I found my way to the top of the Hilton Hotel in the rooftop restaurant and bar 360. What an awesome view (both photos of city from 360)! The restaurant itself is very modern and low key. Very reasonable on prices for both food and drinks and a heck of a view for Cardinals games! Thank you to the staff for being patient with a wandering photographer!
